50,000 Points Later
Well, Lebron finally did it! After two decades in the league, 40-year-old Lebron James finally hit 50,000 points. His son Bronny was on the sidelines witnessing the whole thing! This just begs the question, who is the ultimate NBA G.O.A.T.? In 15 seasons in the NBA, Michael Jordan put up 32,292 points, which is almost 2200 points per season. In James’s 20 seasons, he has put up 50,000 points, about 2500 per season. Who do you think deserves the title of G.O.A.T.?
Thank You, God
Thank you God from Kyrie Irving
Monday night, NBA star Kyrie Irving suffered a season-ending ACL tear. Irving went up to take a shot during the Mavs’ game against the Kins, and during his plant step, you could see his knee buckle, and down he went.
In a video recently released, you could see Irving mouth “thank you, God”. Many have reposted the footage, showing that they stand with Irving and his religious views. He said this during his free throws that he shot after suffering the injury.
I guess what I want to know is how the Mavericks bounce back from this. Are they losing a lot here, or will they be fine in the long run? With all these ACL tears in professional sports, should our trainers be giving their athletes different exercises to prevent these injuries in the future?
